Later today from 7pm(6pm for you UK folk) be sure to tune in to GBC Radio HERE fpr an hour of Gib-made music including ME and a good ol’ chin-wag with the legend that is Ben Lynch plus a couple of live acoustic radio session tracks including a cover I slipped in for good measure and obviously tracks from my album “Songs From Life & Love”. Which in case you haven’t bought it already, you can get it here on iTunes on the following link:

In the meantime you may have noticed alot of “rehearsal” footage being posted up lately. This is all in the lead-up to an awesome project which as you can imagine is in full swing now. I also have a couple of things lined up in relation to a track off my album of which I will reveal just as soon as this is all done and dusted.

In the meantime please do subscribe to my youtube channel, come follow me on twitter and find me on facebook and share away, it’s the only way us struggling independent musicians can really survive ;-)

  5. Sneak peak at what’s been going on lately in Music-World…

  6. This for me was up there with one of lifes funny moments. You must understand that part of soundtrack to my childhood really was Tyketto and their album “Don’t Come Easy”. About 2-3 years ago I found out Danny was living in my area and from that moment on I imagined how cool it would be to maybe one day duet with him on something like “Standing Alone” or maybe even “Burning Down Inside”. Who’d have thought that just a couple of years later I’d not only get the chance to play alongside him but also sing the first line of what has now become such an amazing moment and song for me. Danny won’t know this but I remember in rehearsals for this tour right after we had decided what songs we would play together, and just when we were sitting down to start running through BDI he said something like “You can sing the first line and….”. My brain at this point obviously did a lil star-jump and I could barely hold in my excitement for the tour even more so…

The ultimate spiritual “full circle” moment on this tour was when we played this song over in Sheffield. It had been probably about 10 years since I’d last been around Sheffield after having studied Music in the area at the time. So 10 years down the line and having continued my musical path and now returning to Sheffield with not only my own set of songs but this AMAZING honour to play with Danny.

Here’s some footage of that gig now…couldn’t contain that smile much as you can see :-)

    Happy TimesĀ

  7. End Of Tour…

First and foremost I want to thank my friend, mentor, and all-round Rock God that is Danny Vaughn for believing in me and my music enough to have given me this amazing opportunity and experience, one that I won’t EVER forget. D.V my soul spiritual musical brother, thank you a thousand times over. Mike”Vagetable”Allen(tour manager) you are a beast, thank you for giving this tour that little extra smoothness, I really hope I’ll work with you again in the future.
Last and by no means least, all you D.V fans in Newcastle, Sheffield, Grimsby & Liverpool, thank you for your time and patience and tentative ears. I really did think you’d eat me alive but you are all by far the best bunch of crazy people with great taste in good music(obviously ;P). Thanks for taking the time to go out and buy my album, and I especially haven’t forgotten about you guys who have inquired about physical copies of my album and/or the online links to buy my album. You will all receive an email in the next few days explaining how you can purchase my album.

From my own personal perspective I am so completely grateful and appreciative to everyone I have met in the last week. It’s definitely been an experience and a half having this opportunity to perform my songs for a whole new set of people every night and for you to warm to my music in a way I could never have imagined. From your sudden attentative silence in “A Beautiful Flame” to the unexpected arm-waving sing-a-long moments in “How You Feel” & “Not Today”. Just thinking about it makes me smile. You certainly GOT my music and I am so hugely grateful and thankful to each and every one of you who came out to the gigs.

Hopefully I will see you all again very soon but in the meantime please do check out my album “Songs From Life & Love”, it would be great to hear what you all think of it too.

    Mucho love,

    Craig
